Since 1982, Seafield has been providing English language courses to international students from around the world, earning a reputation for fun and diverse learning experiences. Seafield School of English holds category one status and is a multi award-winning specialist english language school, offering General English courses, English for Academic Purposes (EAP), LanguageCert and preparation for the IELTS exams.
In 2005, Edvance was launched to help people in New Zealand access basic skills to manage everyday business tasks. Based in Tauranga, Edvance built a team of passionate staff who are experts in their fields and committed to the vision of changing lives for the better. In 2015, Edvance established an office in Auckland and, in 2019, that site became the Head Office, with training being delivered nationwide.
A new chapter in the organisation's history began in June 2024, when Edvance was acquired by the New Zealand Skills and Education Group whānau to further growth and align with its vision and strategy. Together, we will continue to empower people through the power of learning.

NZSEG Partners with Merge NZ
More New Zealanders are being given the opportunity to learn sign language, through a new partnership with the New Zealand Skills and Education Group (NZSEG) and Merge NZ. Merge NZ champions the promotion of NZSL through events, conferences, workshops and from within our communities. NZSEG will help Merge NZ deliver courses and classes through its Auckland and Hamilton campuses in a not-for-profit capacity. Managing the intakes for the courses will be through NZSEG’s Professional Development training arm, Skills Campus.
